a long time. While a couple of people go naked all of the time (and virtually everyone skinny dips in the pool), and also a large minority of girls go topless, many the folks remain completely dressed. While nudity is taken at these occasions, the few full time nudists undoubtedly stand out as a tiny minority.
Now, I Have always loved being nude. I’ve been been a secret naturist since I was a child, a home nudist since faculty, as well as a social nudist for about 5 years now. I have gone on bare hikes and canoes trips with my nudist club, where we have struck cloths. And I’ve been going to pagan assemblies for 20 years, and have always skinny dipped in the pool.

ViewI am totally comfortable being nude among fabrics now – so long as their are other nudists with me.
But it took me a very long time before I became daring enough to go skyclad all the time at pagan gatherings.
That’s because when I do, I am frequently the only man bare in my local vicinity.
Even now, after several years of going skyclad as much as weather permits, I still need to work up some boldness to do it when 95% of the people around me are wearing something. It’s completely distinct from the sense of naturalness in being naked at at nudist club. There’s a definite feeling of being the odd one out, of being exposed, of panic that people may respond negatively.
Actually, I’ve just had negative reactions once – from pagans who came from another country where clothes are definitely NOT elective, even at pagan events. Everyone else has always been accepting. Most folks never seem to even notice that I’m nude (though I know they do) – and the few that do mention it are consistently favorable. (Though occasionally jokingly. When I came out of the non-CO dining hall once and did not take off my pareo instantly, one friend asked if I was okay or not ).
while I go skyclad at gatherings, I instantly become comfortable about being nude among cloths. But I’m always aware that I am in an extremely small -and highly visible! – minority. I still have work up some boldness before venturing nude in the crowds – just like I used to have to do before walking onstage in front of a huge audience.
Nevertheless, I always work up that boldness, if just as a point of https://antinude.com . I am one of the few actively nudist pagans at my local parties, and I want to provide moral support for other people that might want to try it also – but like me, do not want to be alone.
Several years back, I observed the few always-skyclad pagans at parties, and wished I was brave enough to join them. It took many years, but eventually, I did. I feel that I ‘d be neglecting them if I didn’t continue their tradition.
And perhaps, with luck, I Will inspire others to become nudists, just as they inspired me.
